C. M. Okonkwo (CMO), also known as Chioma M. Jose, is an HR professional by day and an award-winning storyteller by night. She holds three degrees from France: a B.Sc. in Business Management, an M.Sc. in Personnel and Employment Management, and an Advanced M.Sc. in International HR Management and Development, and has self-published over 40 books across diverse genres, including literary fiction, science fiction, crime, fantasy, romance, erotica, and non-fiction.

Her talents have earned her critical acclaim, with wins and nominations in prestigious competitions like the Africa Book Club Short Story Competition, Quramo Writers’ Prize, African Writers Award, and Wattpad Short Story Contest. Her works have appeared in publications such as LitArt Magazine, SprinNG Eros Anthology, and the PEN Nigeria Anthology.

An active member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, International Thriller Writers, and PEN Nigeria, she served as Secretary (2020–2022) of the Association of Nigerian Authors (Lagos Chapter). Committed to fostering both literary and HR communities, she builds connections among writers, readers, and HR practitioners.

Drawing from her experiences, she has learnt to balance her profession (HR) with her passion (creative writing) by leveraging processes. She curates workshops in both fields to help businesses and individuals appreciate the importance of structured processes, bringing productivity and creativity into their daily lives.
